Professional Career

• In 2007, tied her career-low 64 in the first round of the LPGA Corning Classic.
• In 2005, best finish was 10th at the Corona Morelia Championship; captained the
    European Team at the PING Junior Solheim Cup in Carmel, Ind.
• In 2004, best finish was a tie for 30th at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship
    presented by Coca-Cola.
• In 2003, best finish was a tie for 28th at the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
• In 2002, best finish was a tie for sixth at the Bank of Montreal Canadian Women’s
    Open; tied the LPGA record for most holes-in-one in a single season with three (first
    round of the LPGA Takefuji Classic, third round of the State Farm Classic and first
    round of the Safeway Classic).
• In 2001, best finish was a tie for sixth at the Asahi Ryokuken International
    Championship at Mount Vintage; recorded the second and third holes-in-one of her
    LPGA career, during the second round of the Longs Drugs Challenge and the first
    round of the Bank of Montreal Canadian Women’s Open, respectively; recorded her
    first career international victory with a win at the Hyundai Securities Ladies Open, an
    event on the Korea LPGA Tour (KLPGA).
• In 2000, became the first of seven Rolex First-Time Winners of the season with her
    win over Karrie Webb and sister Annika at the Standard Register PING, where she
    recorded her career-low 64 during the second round; crossed the $1 million mark in
    career earnings following the Arch Wireless Championship.
• In 1999, was the runner-up at the Philips Invitational Honoring Harvey Penick;
    recorded the first hole-in-one of her LPGA career during the second round of the
    NabiscoDinahShore.
• In 1998, recorded 15 top-20 finishes, including a season-best tie for second at the
    Friendly’s Classic; was a member of the European Solheim Cup Team.
• In 1997, best finish was a tie for fourth at the Giant Eagle LPGA Classic.
• In 1996, finished second at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt
    status for the 1997 LPGA season.
• From 1995-96, competed on the Women Professional Golfers’ European Tour
    (WPGET).
• In 1994, turned professional.

Amateur

Sorenstam was a member of the Swedish National Team for seven years. She captured the 1993 European Team
Championship title and won the 1992 Angso Ladies Open. In 1993, Sorenstam competed for the University of Texas and won
the NCAA Championship title, as well as All-America honors.
